What would happen to our group?

Post by Dulce on 10/19/2008, 9:21 am

SD -

This is gong to seem weird, I know, but...........if we get well, if overcome this cursed state of being in love with a married person....what would happen to our group? I don't want to lose our group...........I think I'm discovering some attachment issues I never knew I had.

Finding reciprocal, available love after this must be absolute heaven. Mind if I ask, what was your "mindset" just before this happened? Did this new person sweep you ff your feet? Every so often I conduct a little test on myself, and ask "OK, Dulce, if you were to start dating someone, would you leave him for MM if he came for you?" So far, the answer has been yes I probably would, and this is why I am not dating anyone.

If you have covered this in another thread, would you refer me to it......thanks SD

I feel the same attachment to the group. Plus I slip every once in a while and need all of you to help me get back on my feet.

MU,

You're not alone in that!! In my mind, I "slip" all the time.

A long time ago, my then favorite poet, Rod Mckuen, said "By leaning on each other, we hold each other up".

And I know this is so true......
I love you
