Taught my first lesson today!

Hi Y'all,

Sorry that I haven't been here more, but I have been swamped with school work. I taught my first German lesson to actual high school students today. I taught one lesson to two different classes. The first one was pretty easy, but the second was more challenging. It was a real relief to make it through.

Now, I have to finish this semester, take 3 classes in the summer, complete the fall semester, then I will student teach in the spring. After that I will graduate!!!!!!

I have been working on this dream for 25 years. I had four kids along the way, but didn't give up.

You are ahuge inspiration. My mw is also finishing up school..she has maymester, summer semester and then I think she starts student teaching in the fall...she graduates in December...I think that after her son graduates high school in My of 2009 she will be facing the reality that her marriage may end.

As for me...I think I am just wanting to be by myself now. The drama of the past year and a half has killed me..i like me just being me..just being Dad.

And get this, on May 12 of this year I will be appearing at a comedy club doing stand up comedy! I am scared shitless, but i need to do this for me!
